Meet the Team

Trevor Groves | P.T. Making Central Oregon his home has been an easy task for Trevor Groves, as his appreciation for the diversity of the people and natural environment runs deep.  Exploring the rivers, canyons, forests, and high desert of the region has long been his passion, and settling here helps him stay grounded in the things that are important to him. Trevor is devoted to spending time with his kids, Ethan and Elliana, taking them rafting, camping and hiking. While he’s been a distance runner most of his life, he also love to go mountain biking and Nordic skiing. An avid whitewater kayaker, he heads to the river when he needs time to reflect. The technical challenges and excitement coupled with the mystery and beauty of the ever flowing water brings a smile to his face and clears his mind.

Rob Nelson | P.T.

Sharing his personal stories of life, love, tragedy, pain and success helps Rob Nelson find a connection and common ground with the people he meets.  As a former U.S. Marine, one-time architecture major, builder, and avid adventurer, he has a lot of stories to tell.

Spending time in the outdoors with his wife Colette, their blended family, and their many friends is a top priority for Rob. In the winter he chases the powder whenever he finds the time. While skiing has always been his activity of choice, looking for steep climbs and deep bowls on his snowmobile has become a serious passion.  When the snow melts, he logs many miles on his motorcycle, exploring Oregon’s back roads and attending rallies, collecting tales to tell every step off the way.
